What is development and what does it include?

Film development is when we use chemistry to turn your exposed film into negatives that can be scanned and used for printing your images.

When you make a lab order with us you'll be able to choose what we do with your negatives at checkout. For £3 we will return your negatives to you, cut in lengths of six frames in negative sleeves. Alternatively you can choose to collect your negativ

What happens if my film gets lost in the post?

Don't panic!. If you're worried because you haven't heard anything from us and your lab order has not arrived in the lab, just contact us with all the information including the tracking number. We'll do our best to find your order as soon as possible

What films are we unable to develop in our lab?

What if I'm not happy with digital scan results?

How to check your lab order status

When your film has arrived to the lab you will receive an email information that it has arrived safely. When your scans are uploaded, you will receive an email informing you that they are ready to view via your My Photos section of your AW account. I

Why is there a shipping fee with my lab order?

Our lab offers a film development service with one FREE tracked shipping to the lab. We do charge a small amount for returning your negatives to you, this is a £3 charge for standard Royal Mail 48. If you live locally you can instead choose 'Pick-Up'

How long will you store my scans on my AW account?

We keep your scans for 6 months before they are deleted - however you can subscribe to our Wonderlab cloud storage service to keep your scans for longer. Once your scans have been deleted from our servers we no longer have them and are not able to re

The reason you have received fewer scans than you were expecting is because, when we scan your film, we were only able to find that many frames to scan. This could be for a number of reasons and factors such as the condition of your camera, how well

How do I know what type of film I have?
